An early morning start hoisting the log into place using a tripod and chain and block tackle contraption.

After some readjustments we got the log on to the ground, happy days.

Then out came the Chain Saw !

The Log did not appear to be concerned

We were present for the first cut ! on it way to be transformed into the community bench

The finished grain looked great this will act as the base
